Symptoms: Crohn's Disease Appendix

Appendicitis caused from Crohn's disease may precede symptoms of Crohn's disease elsewhere in the gastrointestinal tract. The patient may not necessarily feel symptoms of Crohn's disease in the appendix even if they have symptoms of Crohn's disease elsewhere. The usual symptom is a sudden onset of pain low down on the right side of the abdomen.
